Robbie to Perform Live at the Brit’s

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:27 am

Robbie Williams is BACK!

Well, back on the Brit’s at least – our courageous Robbie is going to take the center stage at this years brit awards, and lets not forget that he was won more BRITs than any other solo artist in the history of the awards.  Could this be the stage to relaunch his live touring career? We will have to wait to find out, but one thing is for sure, with the event being televised on ITV next month he will certainly have a massive audience, so perhaps it is going to be a great induction back into Live UK performances for our boy from Stoke.

Robbie Williams has also been in the news this week a lot for introducing his pet dog into public life, while its doubtful that the canine accompaniment will help towards the live act, its nice seeing Robbie looking a bit more at home in the public eye.

Now lets roll on those 2010 tour dates as soon as possible Robbie!

Robbie leaving the UK?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:31 am

Terrible news has reaced us here at Robbie Williams Tickets dot net…. It has been reported that Robbie has put the house that be bought here in the UK up for sale, less than a year after buying it in the first place.

He paid 8.5 million pounds for the country mansion in February this year, that has a helipad, swimming pools, tennis courts and more. Allegedly he has asked his estate agents to list it at 7.5 million, making a loss of a cool million pounds in order to sell it before christmas so that he can spend the holiday season back in the United States.

This may explain why the much anticipated announcements for the Robbie Williams 2010 tour have been delayed over and over – we are sure that he will be back touring the UK in front of the fans that love him so much, but the question now is, will it be before next year?  We would like to say it will, but with no further news coming from robbie’s camp, its hard to make a guess as to when it will be.

As always, as soon as we get more news we will keep you posted!

Robbie Williams to appear at the Brits!

Filed under: Robbie News — admin @ 5:08 am

Robbie is set to make a comeback to the Brit Awards – as you may be aware Robbie Williams has won more Brit awards than any other male artist, and he is set to pick up a lifetime achievement award which is an honour that has only been bestowed on some of the biggest names in UK Music history (and the spice girls, but lets just gloss over that for a moment).

Robbie’s going to be performing live at the event, which is one of the largest award ceremonies outside the USA and will be broadcast live on National Television in the United Kingdom, you can read further information on the performance here http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/robbie-williams–let-me-entertain-you-please-1807220.html

As for a new tour, we are still awaiting news on when that will be happening, but rest assured as soon as we know, you will know!

Robbie X Factor Behind the Scenes

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:52 am

Robbie has been mentoring his hopefulls for the X factor this week at the soho house hotel in Londons West End. He has been snapped entering and leaving the venue along with lots of the X factor contestants as these pics reveal.

Robbie also has a hot tip for us as to who he thinks is going to be the winner of this years X factor, saying ‘There’s this one guy on The X Factor who is amazing. I think he could take my place. I’ve got my eye on him – he’s dead.’

Its rumoured he is talking about Olly Murs, one of the bookies favourites for this years X-Factor recording contract.

If you want to catch Robbie Williams Live on the X-Factor, be sure to tune into ITV1 this weekend (pretty much anytime, its repeated about 6 times before Monday)

Buying Tickets off eBay (warning)

Filed under: Robbie News — admin @ 4:11 am

Following a hot thread over at RobbieWilliams.com (see it here), we would just like to remind everybody again, that buying tickets off eBay is not safe, especially for events such as the BBC Electric Proms.

Buying tickets off eBay offers zero buyer protection, as the gig is often months away and paypal only refund your money if you dont receive the goods within 90 days, obviously for the BBC Proms gig which is on in about 10 days, that isnt an issue as such, but what is specific to this gig is the ticketing policy that the BBC have to prevent touting.

The Electric Proms Ticket rules work like this: on the night, the person that bought the tickets have to arrive at the Roundhouse in Camden between one and four hours in advance with all of the following:

1) the receipt for the ticket purchase
2) the credit/debit card actually used to buy the tickets
3) photo ID (passport or EU Driving License)

If you buy tickets for this event off eBay or any other online seller, you will not get into the event, as you wont be the original buyer of the tickets, trust me, I know because I was lucky enough to get tickets for oasis last year at the electric proms, they were amazing but it took an hour and a half to get in, because they check every single persons ID before getting into the venue.

If you are one of the (millions) of unlucky robbie williams fans that never managed to get tickets for the electric proms, your only option is to watch it on the TV, last year the whole event was broadcast ‘almost’ live (there was about a 15 minute delay) on BBC3’s red button service. If by some chance you dont yet have digital TV, then I guess you’re either not going to see it – or you will have to go round to a friends house!

Dont fret though, because Robbie Williams 2010 Tour Tickets will be on sale some time in the next few weeks, and you will have ample opportunity to get your hands on them from a reputable seller – but again, dont bother buying them off eBay, as if you do your not protected as the tour is more than 90 days away!

If you have any questions or doubts, then please dont hesitate to contact this site by leaving a comment below, we will do our best to answer any questions about robbie williams tickets that you may have.

See Robbie ‘Live’ in 200 Cinemas!

Filed under: Robbie News — admin @ 3:52 am

Robbie Williams’ sold out and massively over subscribed concert in the Roundhouse promises to be an extraordinary night, but all of the 3000 tickets sold out in seconds, leaving millions of fans across the world left out. What can they do? You cant buy tickets for the event on eBay, as the ticket holders require photo ID to get into the venue, so basically, millions of ardent Robbie Fans are basically left out in the cold.

Well, not any more it would seem, in an impressive move, Robbie has secured over 200 Cinemas accross Europe to play a live feed of his Gig at the Roundhouse, so you can tune in and watch it “Live” along with all the lucky few that actually made it into the Roundhouse.

Not only that, but you can also see the performance in cinemas if you live in Australia and South Africa, although not Live, it will be played a few days after the event, so look lively, and check out this link to find your nearest cinema with the performance, all over Europe!
